Critical Teachers
There is a teacher who notices every mistake on paperwork AFTER it has been sent around for suggestions and corrections. This teacher will mention things to other teachers, but not the one who may have made the mistake. How do you appropriately let this teacher know he or she is out of line?

I believe that honesty is always the best policy and that a healthy conversation about the issue could help. I think that you should maintain a professional manner at all times and simply tell the teacher how their actions effect others. This could be beneficial.

First be professional about it. Don't send it in a mass email or just drop a note in her mailbox. Speak with them directly. Voice your concerns with them but be calm and direct.

Speaking face-to-face helps this situation most.

When she mentions someones mistakes afterwards ask her why she didn't say anything. Maybe she doesn't know how, so you could give her suggestions. Maybe if enough of the teachers practice this, she will stop.

I'm a pretty assertive person, I've found that is the only way to really get what you want. I would ask the person why they haven't addressed it with the writer. There is no sneakiness that needs to be done here.
