You can assess students by having the students do a performance based assessment. Some examples of a performance based assessment are an oral presentation and an end of unit project that might require students to apply their understanding of the concepts to a real world situation. |

There are many alternative methods for assessing students' learning, such as project-based assessments, performance assessments, portfolios, digital assessments, and collaborative assessments, that can provide a more holistic view of students' progress and allow for more personalized feedback. It is better to use alternative assessments, instead of just paper and pencil because they can better reflect the types of skills that students will need in the real world, such as collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. |

There are so many assessments the students are able to use. There is technology assessments like Kahoot. You can do an oral interview with them or assessments in a group setting. You can use quizzes, reflect methods, think-pair-share, four corners, and much more |

I like your idea of using Kahoot! That is a great way for the teacher to assess while the students are answering. Great solution to seeing student understanding on the spot! |

I would incorporate your students into making this decision and ask them how they recall information the best. |

This would be great for both higher and lower level classes because little students are creative and higher level students know what works best for them! I would love to see what students come up with! |

There are many ways to differentiate assessments. One way could be a verbal assessment where the teacher reads the questions and the student verbally responds with the answer. Another way is a matching assessment with pictures and words. A project or poster can be a great way of assessment as well. |
