Getting the students excited for math
In the classroom, math is a tough subject to get the students excited for. I found a tool that helps the students love math and continuous answer questions. This tool is known as "Quick Response Boards". This is simply fancy term for an individual whiteboard and dry erase markers the kids can use to work and answer questions. After answering the questions, the students all hold up their boards and show their answers. |

This is a very effective technique. I have used this in my ESE internship this semester while going over "key words" with my students. The key to making this work is to explain to the students that they cannot show their answer until the teacher says so in order to allow everyone a chance to complete the problem. |

I agree with this technique. My students hate pencil and paper but give them a board and marker and they are happy. |

I really like this tip! Many times your level of excitement as the teacher will increase your students excitement levels as well |
