Online testing
I have recently been using Google Forms and Flubaroo to assess students. I want to use more online performance task assessments because I noticed that our students will work diligently on digital projects versus others. So, what resources do you know of that are digital that students can complete for a performance based assessment?

Several teachers at the school in which I co- teach use the online testing site Quia. Students are able to go online to play review games for upcoming tests. This site allows students to create online flashcards to study or review major topics. Additionally, students can actually take tests and quizzes on this site as well and can receive immediate feedback on how well they performed. In fact, teachers allow students more than one attempt in order to improve their grades. As a result, students have been more diligent in preparing for these assessments and their overall assessment grades have improved as well.

I will have to go online and try Quia. We are taking our first standardized assessment online in a few weeks and we are all really nervous. Our students do not have technology at home so we are trying everything we can to get them ready for this online test.

I co-teach with a teacher that uses Blendspace. Blendspace allows you as a teacher to organize different resources from all over the internet into one space. You can even "blend" online resources with your own personal documents.

One website that is used at my school is quizlet. The site allows you to put in any vocabulary or key terms and match up their definition.

We use a website called quia. It provides a timed window in which students can submit responses, and it automatically scrambles the questions and answer choices to make it more difficult for students to work together.

We use a a program within our school system and the teachers create tests and email it to students and they email back when finished. We are searching for online assessments all the time to prepare our students for upcoming state testing. It is very nerve racking. The computers seem to be our biggest problem having them all work and cooperate when we need them too.

My school uses Study Island to help assess students. The students like it because it has a game mode. Many times in our new electronically immersed society, our students enjoy working on the computer. We also use Edmodo to submit online assignments.

I think Quizlet is truly a great way for students to study for any tests they must take. It allows you to enter vocabulary words and definitions, as well as play games with the terms. It also creates practice tests.

I suggest Nearpod, Kohoot, or Socrative websites. On nearpod you can present a digital lesson and quiz students at the end of lesson. Kohoot is a quiz/game tool. My students love it, it is competive and engaging. Socrative is a quizzing-testing platform.

I agree that Socrative is a wonderful tool for online assessments. It gives students immediate feedback as long as the teacher chooses that feature within Socrative.
