Topic/question posted on Oct 8, 2016 by Emily Joswick

Why is the author so surpirsed at the temperature in Pheonix?
The author says in the story "When we landed, the pilot said it was 110 degrees. I thought I had not heard him clearly". Why is the author surprised by what the pilot says?
