The lesson learned.
What lesson did the grasshoppers learn fromt he ants? How do you think the grasshoppers felt when they realized they had no food saved for winter and had to ask the ants for some of their food? How would you feel if you were in the grasshoppers' position?

The lesson the grasshoppers learned was that you must work hard to live. The grasshoppers must have felt disapointed and embarrassed. It wasn't until winter when they realized they had no food and that they might starve. So they had no choice but to ask the ants for some food. It must not have been easy asking the ants for some of their food knowing that they could have worked just as hard to save food for themselves. If I was in the grasshoppers' potiton I would feel the same way. It would not be a good feeling knowing that I wasted a whole seaon playing while I could have been collecting food for myself.
