Appropriate movies or videos?
I am sure that most schools have a no rated R movies or videos policy that seem not appropriate for the students. However, what if you find something that is more historical or scientific that is rated R and would be helpful to the students in a specific unit they are in. Would it be best to not show any types of movies that are 18+ or could you possibly run it by administration to see if it is a good movie to show.

No rates R movie will be allowed in school. It is best to show G or PG. Maybe you can find a historical documentary or video instead.

Often times, networks or individual users will upload specific clips from longer movies or documentaries, onto sites like YouTube. You may be able to find a shorter splice from the R-rated media that still applies to the lesson, without having to show the entire film. However always review the clips before showing them to your class, even if the uploader claims that they are appropriate .
