Special Education Services for Disabilities and Writing Skills
Victor is an eighth grade student who receives special education services to address his needs related to a physical disability. Victor does not struggle with mathematics reasoning and computation; however, he is only able to write with a pencil for short amounts of time because his muscles become fatigued easily and begin to cramp. What accommodations can be utilized to address this student's need? |

The student needs to have frequent breaks where he can rest his muscles. He should have extended time. Also, if he could have a writer to dictate what he says on the paper. |

I would consider given him modified version of assignments and assessments. His test or assignment could consist of a reduced amount of problems. In addition, he should be referred for physical therapy services. |
