Special Education Services for Disabilities and Writing Skills
Victor is an eighth grade student who receives special education services to address his needs related to a physical disability. Victor does not struggle with mathematics reasoning and computation; however, he is only able to write with a pencil for short amounts of time because his muscles become fatigued easily and begin to cramp. What accommodations can be utilized to address this student's need?

The student needs to have frequent breaks where he can rest his muscles. He should have extended time. Also, if he could have a writer to dictate what he says on the paper.

I would consider given him modified version of assignments and assessments. His test or assignment could consist of a reduced amount of problems. In addition, he should be referred for physical therapy services.
