I have tried letting these students bring a chair to the carpet, but it is not helpful. Any suggestions for how to make carpet time better? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would practice and demonstrate what good carpet behavior looks like. When you see it being done correctly, verbally praise those students. Even small candy like skittles or m&ms work.
