Case: What is your knowledge of and experience with standards-based education?
If you are asked this question in a job interview for a teaching position: What are some things you should avoid when responding to this question? What might be some important points to stress that would get the interviewer's attention? How would you respond to this question?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
If are certainly not familiar with the standards I would avoid trying to make something up. I would be prepared and research especially if the you know the question may come about. I would also create mini lesson and take them with me and show the interviewer how you applied it.

Comments: This solution is most useful because it encourages honest answers, do not lie to create “fluff” answers.
Creating mini lesson plans and presenting them will show your adequate knowledge of standards.
