This particular student is expected to take the Georgia Milestone like every other student. How can I show progression with this student and still have high, rigorous expectations? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would start the student on Differentiated Phonics by Dr. Sharon Walpole as soon as possible to try and teach as many phonics patterns as you can. I would also teach test taking strategies like finding words from the question in the stories to help answer the questions.
