  Case: Student Shy to Present
I have a student who is excellent in the classroom and goes above and beyond to excel in his work. This student has a learning disability and struggles with reading and word association. As a result, this young man does not like to present in front of the class for obvious reasons. I typically let him present to just me, which he is OK with, yet I still feel that I need to find a way to help him overcome his fear. What are some ways that I could help boost his confidence?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Maybe you could record him on an ipad or iphone presenting a book or math problem so he can practice presenting, then show this to the class. Maybe this would begin to boost his confidence. Or you could let him practice with a buddy or with you what to say and then repeat what was said to the class.

Comments: In this situation, I would not use this solution. This solution still requires the student to speak publically using an even trough IPAD, how ever it would not build his skills of peaking in front of his peers.

Comments: I think this will not benefit the student. It will prevent him from overcoming his fear and growing.
