Case: Second Interview
I will be interviewing with a principle for the second time. The first time I did not have enough experience. I really want to work at this school so what should I do?

If the reason for not being hired the first time was a lack of experience, I would highlight what I have learned since interviewing previously because that is what your interviewer is probably looking for. The longer we teach, the more confidence we gain, so being confident is also important. Also, if you can provide examples of student work that demonstrate their success and growth due to your influence, this is very powerful. A portfolio, online or paper, would be a great way to demonstrate all of these things. |
