What suggestions do you have for making review engaging for students? It can be very boring for the students and myself as a teacher. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I provide review packets for math and reading that have questions similar to standardized tests. The kids complete the packets in class during free time and at home. As a grade level, we offer rewards for completing both reviews. If they do one or the other, they get to choose between playing in a class v. class kickball game or an ice cream float. If they complete both, they receive rewards. They students also check their own work before turning it in, so I can easily go through and which skills require the most review and which ones the students have mastered.
