Case: He/She Is Not Being Challenged
I base all of my students' assignments off of formative and informative assessments. Therefore, my instruction is very differentiated to meet each child's needs. However, one of my student's parents believe that their child misbehaves because he is not being challenged. This child's assignments are based off of his assessment results, but the parents do not seem to understand. Any suggestions for what I could do?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Provide additional resources to the child for extension activities. This provides an outlet for the child to use higher-order thinking skills and the parents see that the student is being challenging on top of all the differentiation you are already providing.
