Instead, I have to prompt the students to begin working. What suggestions, methods, or alternatives are their to starting class? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Warm-Ups are something that I use Mon-Thurs in my classroom. A strategy that work for me is putting a time limit on it and then checking them. The students are required to leave their journals in the classroom.
