Case: New Students Being Assessed Under You
At my school we receive new students each Monday. Majority of these students have been out of school for a long period of time. An influx of new students are enrolled a week before standardized testing and they are required to test as our students. What is a great solution to this situation?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would not use these test scores as a basis for how you are teaching because you have not taught these students anything prior to the test. However, I would use the test scores as a way to determine where the students are in their learning and what they do and do not know.
