  Case: Let's Clean It Up
In my classroom, I have several students that refuse to help clean up after centers. Instead of cleaning up, they go behind the other students and take the toys back out. I have a clean-up song that I play, but it does not help. Any suggestions as to how I can encourage these students to clean-up?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Maybe you could make your clean up time your exit ticket. For example, all the students have to pick up something before they leave the classroom.

Comments: I think it is a good idea but would might not use it as an exit strategy. I see it as more of a reward/time to go play type of system. Great idea though and would it keep it in mind to use. :)

Comments: I don't think holding them back and making them stay would be a good solution because it is very forceful. I believe in positive reinforcement and giving rewards to those that help clean up and do what they are told.
