Case: Student cannot and will not keep hands to himself
I am facing a situation where there is a 9 year old boy who can't keep his hands to himself. I have constantly seen him doing things like walking up behind kids and taking a wisp of hair and yanking it... flicking/kicking them from behind... coming up from behind and smacking them on one shoulder and then quickly shifting over far to the other side (you know, the old 'who's there' stunt) etc.... etc.... etc.... You never see him without his hands on somebody. Any ideas?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
With a student like this or a situation like this one, you can have a desk sat off by itself an have the student sit there until he is ready to behave and keep his hands to himself. Keep the student desk close to the teacher desk. That will make the student want to do right because he will want to sit close with every one else.

Comments: Although I do think it's a good solution, since this is constant, I don't think it will always be an option.

Comments: I think this would humiliate the student and not teach him proper behavior.

Comments: I'm not sure this is a good idea because it can cause some problems when isolating the student.
