  Case: Cheating students
You believe that a student is cheating during a very important exam. You also suspect that other students are attempting to cheat when you are not looking directly at them. How should you handle this in an appropriate way?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would stop the test and collect the work they have already completed. The whole class. I would then have everyone stand up and move their desks further apart then i would mix up their seats and place them by different students to help avoid this problem. If this does not help you will need to handle students individually if you catch them cheating. Take their papers, call home and they receive a 0.

Comments: I can see where this could be thought to be a good idea, though stopping students in the middle of a test/exam is never a good idea.

Comments: I do not think that this would help the situation. I think that would be distracting and the students who are trying to focus would get messed up. This is something I wouldn't do in class.

Comments: This is the worst solution. Not every child should be punished for the actions of a few students. They should not have to be disrupted from their test taking because of their peers.

Comments: My main issue with this is that it takes time out of their exam. You either have to start the class by having them space out their desks or announce the day before.

Comments: I do not agree with this solution, the rest of the students should not be penalized for the students that are cheating.

Comments: I feel like this solution is a little over the top and don't really agree with it. This is causing a huge distraction and time away from their test.
