The school has adopted National Geographic but I have chosen to use the Science Fusion textbook because I believe it is more conducive to student comprehension. The challenge with my students seems to stem from getting them to read and review the material at home. The diagnostic scores at the beginning of the year were extremely low. After numerous a continuous effort to connect and engage students I am finally starting to see some improvements. My principal would like me to write a letter to my parents. I was hoping to find some support as to where I should begin. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would encourage the parents to also be involved in their students education at home and encourage them to work on it with their students.
