The teacher argued that the convictions did not relate to teacher effectiveness as her first grade students did not know of her arrests. Will her termination be upheld by the courts? Why or why not? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Absolutely! The court will definitely not rule in her favor. I believe that everyone makes mistakes, however, we tend to learn from them. After the first DUI, she should have learned her lesson. When you enter the teaching profession, you know you have to hold yourself to a higher standard and serve as a role model for others.
