Case: TKES Evaluation
If an assistant principal does not provide TKES feedback after conducting a teacher's evaluation in the required number of days would you notify the principal? We are being held to a high standard, but the requirements are not being upheld by the assistant principal.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
First talk to you evaluator about your concerns and if things do not change then yes seek your principal. It is the responsibility of your evaluator to give you feedback within 48 hours of your observation. Also upload your evidence of the things tat you were doing on that day of observations and other artifacts to cover yourself. |

| Comments: This suggestion is completely correct. It is important that you first contact the assistant principal about your concerns before involving anyone else. Secondly, to be responsible for your own teaching and make sure that you have evidence for your lessons that day is imperative. There are many reasons why this may have happened, the administrators in our schools have many responsibilities and have every other teacher in the building to complete observations for as well. It is important to withhold them to the same standards, but treat them with respect as well. |
