Case: Do you have any questions for me?
This is one of the most common questions at the end of interviews. I feel that it is not a good idea to not have any questions, but then again, it is not good to ask too many. What are some purposeful and strong questions that I can ask the principal during my interview?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would ask:
1. What support do you provide new teachers to the school to help them adjust?
2. Are there any school wide behavior and reward systems.
3. Describe the culture of the staff. |

Comments: These are all useful as they show you are truly interested in the job. Behavior support is o important s many parents are no as involved in their child's behavior issues as they should. Knowing one's culture can better improve one's teaching and can help the teacher hwo to teach to all students. |

Comments: I do not support the question about the support of new teachers because then they may think that you may need too much help with getting started. |

Comments: I particularly like this part you added "What support do you provide new teachers to the school to help them adjust?" Also, What resources are there for new teachers to the school to help them adjust? |

Comments: A great way to see if the new teacher can fit in or will be placed on the bottom. |
