What can Mrs. Will do to keep these students awake and ensure that they've learned the lessons? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I have been lucky to have a classroom that has counters along with tables and desks. With the permission of my principal, I require those students who want to sleep in class to complete their assignments at the counter without a stool. The counter is high enough to allow students to complete work there without sitting down.
