This student has a learning disability and struggles with reading and word association. As a result, this young man does not like to present in front of the class for obvious reasons. I typically let him present to just me, which he is OK with, yet I still feel that I need to find a way to help him overcome his fear. What are some ways that I could help boost his confidence? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) You could possibly record the student (with permission of course) when he is presenting to you. That way he can play the video of him presenting to the class on presentation day. Instead of presenting the entire project, he could introduce the his presentation video to the class. That would be a shorter amount of time he would have to actually be in front of the class speaking. This could help him get used to speaking in front of them.
