  Case: Holiday's With Jehovah's Witness
What is the best way to teach or reference holidays when there is a Jehovah's Witness in the class. I wouldn't want the others to hinder in activities and celebrations.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
You could try giving them an independent study project or review work in the media center while holiday parties are happening in the classroom. I have found they often do not come to school on the days when holidays are celebrated.

Comments: This is the worst solution because it tells that the teacher should give the students a 'study project'. The Jehova witnesses students will not be willing to do work while his classmates are doing a fun art project. Instead, the students that do not want to participate in holiday celebration should be allowed to do other crafts projects or watch a movie at the library.

Comments: The student should not be cast away from the group. Giving the student a chance to share about their beliefs would be a great way to involve them without casting them out.

Comments: This would make the student feel even more left out than they already feel. We want to make all students comfortable and to have fun not make them have more work while other kids are rewarded with a party.

Comments: While this is not bad I do not think that giving them extra work is the best way to occupy their time. Something more fun would be better. Also maybe do not exclude them from the classroom.
