Case: Classroom Rewards - Candy or Not?
I usually give candy (Dum Dums) for small rewards in my classroom. With so much emphasis on healthy eating lately, what other small rewards could I give my students for following classroom routines?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Students are always with our pencils. Cool pencils can be ordered in bulk that would serve the same purpose.

Comments: I don't think this would work. Students are always sharing pencils, they would then fight over whose pencil is whose.

Comments: I think pencils can only go so far as to keep the momentum up for the students. I would change the rewards up.

Comments: Pencils are nice, but students may not respond as enthusiastically. Maybe adding them in with more of a variety of rewards would be helpful.
