Depending on the amount of time the teacher has had time to get to know the students academic strengths, create a performance task assignment in the domain the student tends to be proficient in. Allow a large amount of choices for students to make yet still staying within the rubric guidelines. Use this assignment for the opportunities of conference with the student.
