Case: Social Media and Teachers
I have a teacher that continues to post ecards, memes about situations that occur with her and another teacher. For example, the teacher was having difficulty within a Pre-K classroom, and when given a solution of providing reinforcers such as small goldfish, m&m, small video clips, stickers, the teacher passively refused. Instead, she posted ecards and pictures of how students should not be rewarded unless they were doing good. How would you handle situations such as this with social media?

I would personally ignore the rude comments from your co-worker. If your co-worker cannot act professionally, it is their problem. If it gives you some piece of mind, "unfollow" or "block" that co-worker from social media so you do not have to involve yourself in the drama. |

| Comments: Yep. Unless they are posting something that violates confidentiality, don't be "that person." I don't agree with their behavior, but it's also not my business. Getting involved with petty drama will most likely have undesirable consequences for you. |
