He would always sit in the back and not pay attention and refuse to do his work while making noises to distract the other students. He would sometimes throw paper balls while I was teaching. No matter how many times I sent him out or gave him consequences, nothing seemed to affect him. He was at risk of failing the third grade and having to repeat it because he would not do any work? what are some things I could do with this student? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would give the student praise for good behavior and encourage him to participate in class discussions. Sometimes finding something that peaks the student's interest can make leaps and bounds difference in the student who wants to pay attention.
