Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Personal Space Boundaries Students are not allowed to hug, or touch each other during the course of the school day. This students is very touchy. He does not have clear boundaries of personal space and can be inappropriately affectionate causing multiple redirections throughout the school day. He has a history of this, and while nothing inappropriate has happened I fear issues are escalating. What steps should be taken or what strategies should be practiced? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) This is something that should be addressed right away. Teaching the student a cue such as the words personal space is something that you could try. So when someone does not want to be touched or does not want someone in their space they just say personal space.
