You are a bad teacher! I want a new teacher! How should you react to this situation? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would halt what I was doing and redirect the students to an activity and pull the student aside and speak to them privately about the level of disrespect they displayed to not just me, but all the students in class. I will offer to help them with what they need after class and give them a specified time.
