Case: Social Media and Teachers
I have a teacher that continues to post ecards, memes about situations that occur with her and another teacher. For example, the teacher was having difficulty within a Pre-K classroom, and when given a solution of providing reinforcers such as small goldfish, m&m, small video clips, stickers, the teacher passively refused. Instead, she posted ecards and pictures of how students should not be rewarded unless they were doing good. How would you handle situations such as this with social media?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Social media should be kept far away from a professional setting. If her teaching has begun to negatively impact the students it is time to alert administration. |

Comments: I agree with this possible solution, that if her actions on social media get out of hand to alert administration. |

Comments: she's not saying its affecting her students, its just rude when they are just trying to help her. |

Comments: I do not think she is negatively effecting her students by posting things on social media. If you have a problem with someone's memes, just unfollow them. Don't stress it. |

Comments: Not all social media is bad; everyone has some form of it, and as long as you contain what everyone sees you are fine! |
