He comes from a home where his parents are not very supportive and he is not given a lot of attention. The teacher has gotten the counselor involved, but there has not been very much progress made. It has gotten to the point where it is happening several times a week. I would speak to the student and see what is going on with him. I would allow him to use the bathroom more often and create a signal for The student to let me know when he needed to go. Also I would focus on the positives traits of that student and compliment him. Finally, I would have him help me out around the classroom with various tasks.
