  Case: Everything is Gay
Students in Mr. Jones' class have a habit of calling anything with negative gay. Mr. Jones has requested the students find an alternative word but they continue to use it. How can he convince students to not use this word in negative contexts only?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
He could speak with other teachers because maybe these students are hearing this from friends in other classes and then the teachers can work together to eliminate the use of the word. Teachers can encourage students to put themselves in another person's shoes.

Comments: Even if they learned the word from other kids they should have realized the word wasn't acceptable to use after the first couple of times the teacher told them to stop using it.

Comments: I understand your statement but don't believe it'll be very effective. I think students should be educated about the word and punished if they continue to use it negatively.

Comments: Although this solution addresses the situation properly, it does not provide an efficient alternative method to handling the situations. If other teachers are experiencing the same event, then action still needs to be taken on the students behalf.
