Home | How It Works | Stats Login | Register         Case: Spanish in the Classroom I have 14 ESOL kids in my classroom. Most of them still speak Spanish at home. I have noticed that they also speak in Spanish at school w hen they are interacting with one another. Does this isolate my English speakers? Each of these students in capable of speaking English and do so during instruction. Is it ok to allow them to continue to speak in Spanish? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I think it is perfectly okay to allow them to do so. If that is the language they are most comfortable with they should be allowed to speak it.
