  Case: Stolen pencil case
After socially integrating her diverse class, Carol sees her efforts threatened when a student's pencil case disappears and is thought to have been stolen.
What would you do to fix the situation?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
Explain to the students stealing is not tolerated, and that whoever took it needs to return it by the end of the day or there will be consequences for the whole class. If the person who took it returns it before class ends there will be no punishment for him/her. I would explain to my student all about stealing and how it is not right at all.

Comments: I agree with the solution that teaching students stealing will not be tolerated. However, a teacher needs to still approach the classroom in a respectable, yet stern manner not one that threatens the students such as stating all of the will be in trouble. Instead, state if no one came forward the teacher would have a administrator come in and continue this discussion and additional even a message home to all parents.

Comments: Depending on how they acted is what I would play on. So I disagree with this because discipline for a remorseful student is not always good.
