Joyce is not making much progress teaching her remedial English class and is particularly concerned about an extremely shy student who is not responding to her teaching methods and style.

Comments: I disagree because this solution because it does not try to alter anything about the way the teacher interacts with the student or teaches, despite having no progress with the current instruction.

Comments: I feel that this solution does not really help the student and is not likely to solve the problem. I would not follow this solution.

Comments: The more time you give her the more comfortable she will get with not participating and the more she will fall behind. Trying to find something she is interested in can help her get out of her shell.

Comments: this is not the best way to solve the situation at hand. although it is possible time may be what she needs, there is no clear answer.
