Sure, I try to give them interesting texts to read, but there are some things we are required to read that simply aren't interesting. Any ideas? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) Assigned reading is a common homework and students should be held accountable for the readings. I would have the students complete the assigned reading during lunch detention, study hall or any other time that allows for free choice work.
