Case: Does my child have ADHD?
When a parent continually asks for the teacher's opinion on whether their child has ADHD or not, what is the appropriate response since we are not doctors? We can describe the behaviors we see in the classroom, but where do we draw the line?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would explain to the parent that you are not a doctor so you can only give them things you have observed with the student and then let them know they might want to bring those things up when they see a Doctor.
