  Case: Catch Up
Does anyone have any suggestions for playing catch up? I have a student who is gone so often that it makes it difficult to catch them up so they can keep up with the content.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would first contact the parent/guardian to see if someone was able to pick up the classwork and homework that the child missed so they can be working on it before they come back. Another option would be to ask the parent or guardian if they could let the school know in advance when the student will be out to prepare the work in advance.

Comments: I really like this solution. Knowing in advance or letting parents/guardians know they can pick up materials is a good way to try to keep on top of things

Comments: Staying in front of it by asking for notice of absence ahead of time could be helpful.
