Case: Classroom Rules
When trying to make the classroom a fun yet structured environment, what are some key rules to have in place for the students?

First, there shouldn't be any interpretation available to your rules. For example: "Be responsible." It is very vague, and can mean different things to different people. A rule such as "Show up to class on time," is simple, direct, and cannot be misconstrued.
When speaking directly about wanting to keep a fun environment, but keep it controlled, consider rules such as "Resect your classmates and teacher." This will (ideally) prevent fun behavior from turning to disruptive behavior. |
