  Case: Classroom Rules
When trying to make the classroom a fun yet structured environment, what are some key rules to have in place for the students?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
First, there shouldn't be any interpretation available to your rules. For example: "Be responsible." It is very vague, and can mean different things to different people. A rule such as "Show up to class on time," is simple, direct, and cannot be misconstrued.

When speaking directly about wanting to keep a fun environment, but keep it controlled, consider rules such as "Resect your classmates and teacher." This will (ideally) prevent fun behavior from turning to disruptive behavior.

Comments: Helping understand that being too general can be harmful to a listening classroom. Some students come from different cultures that see and do things differently. By creating detailed rules, it helps prevent any misconception of the rules.

Comments: I like this solution as the rules would be specific and direct to help prevent misunderstandings from the students and any disruptive behavior from the students. The rules can be discussed with the students and then placed in the classroom for students to refer to.
