Case: Needs a Father Figure
I have a student whom is trying to impress me. One day, he feels bad behavior will impress me. The next day, he explains his favorite things. He disrupts lessons in order to go into detail about himself. How do I give him attention without taking away fro the lesson?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
You could try implementing a short time at the end of the day/week where students can share about themselves. This would allow him the time to go into detail about himself without taking away from a lesson. |

| Comments: I believe that this solution will work for the student. By allowing this time not only will this student be able to share but other students who would like to share something to. This also allows for the student to speak with you and not interrupt class and your lessons. |

| Comments: I think this solution is a great idea. The student will know that he will have a set time at the end of the day/week to talk about himself/things going on in his life. He will learn to wait and write down the things he wants to share with everyone instead of disrupting the class. |

| Comments: I would definitely do this in my classroom as well. It allows the student to be able to share things with teacher and with the students. In addition, it may also help students find things in common with each other. |
