Case: Just trying to Help
A student in class has a odor condition, and I tried to help the child from being picked on by others in the class so I sent home a little deodorant with the child. I received a note back from the parents with a very rude remark, \"(Blank student) has a mother and does not need another.\" Now, uncomfortably, I do not know what to do.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I worked in a classroom where we had deodorant for each student that was kept in the classroom. This way after PE the students had it available to freshen up. Perhaps implementing this in your room would help to not only provide deodorant for this student, but also not single him or her out, or their parents for that matter. |
