Case: Where do you hope to be professionally in 5 years from now?
If you are asked this question in a job interview for a teaching position: What are some things you should avoid when responding to this question? What might be some important points to stress that would get the interviewer's attention? How would you respond to this question?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
A happy teacher with 5 years of teaching my class, with 5 classes of students that learned the most they could, and also retained the knowledge becuase they had fun while learning. I would see myself in the same school, becuase it is difficult switching schools after getting into such a routine and getting to know the staff. I definitely wouldnt say anything that made them think I only wanted to be at their school temporarily.

Comments: I'm not sure an interviewer would want to hear " I would see myself in the same school, because it is difficult switching schools after getting into such a routine and getting to know the staff." It doesn't show any initiative but complacency.

Comments: While it can be a difficult adjusting to change, sometimes it is necessary to get out there and experience new things. Teaching is not a routine thing. Yes, you have a class schedule and standards to meet but experiences change things and help better you in the long run.
