Case: What is your most favorite grade/subject to this? Explain.
If you are asked this question in a job interview for a teaching position: What are some things you should avoid when responding to this question? What might be some important points to stress that would get the interviewer's attention? How would you respond to this question?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I would suggest that I could be versatile and adapt to any grade level, but the lower grades would be the classes I would choose over the higher ones. I feel like the younger students have a curiosity and eagerness about learning. It makes me so happy to see a younger students learning something for the first time, it is almost like a lightbulb turned on in their brains. They get so excited, especially figuring out why? and how?
They love to ask questions, and are just more eager to learn. |

Comments: I think this would be a great way to respond. I think it is important to stay positive and explain that you are willing to teach whatever subject or grade level and that you are flexible, but then provide honest and positive answers for why you enjoy a particular grade. I would respond just like this since I enjoy the younger grades as well. |

Comments: Great solution, you don't want to come off as a "one" subject teacher. Your trying to make yourself be unique and be remembered. |

Comments: If I were in this situation, I would do exactly this. I feel that by sharing you would be able to adapt to any grade level but then also giving your actual preference shows the interviewer that you can adapt to change very well. |

Comments: I agree, this a nice way without seeming nitpicky about what grade you want to teach and you included such a cute reason too. |

Comments: I believe this is the best answer. I believe that you want to make it known that you wouldn't mind teaching any grade but state what grades you do prefer and why. |
