Maybe discussing the issue with the teacher and then trying to keep some snacks in the classroom for him and see if that helps. I would also have the teacher talk to the parents about the issue and see why he may be hungry more often than usual. The child may get into trouble for saying something or the family may be embarrassed. I would have guidance handle some of the situation and see what can be done.
