Case: Pencils!
My students are constantly sharpening pencils in the classroom. I started them off the school year with individual pencils and bag, but this method doesn't seem to work. They get up during every block of the day. What do you suggest I do?

Make them use mechanical pencils! |

| Comments: I don't feel like everyone can afford mechanical pencils plus the lead. Some students may not be able to afford pencils. It's not the teacher job to supply pencils for everyone but I do feel like we have to at times. I think students should have mandatory pencil bags to keep at school and not to bring home. This can help students with not losing pencils. Also making every student before class to sharpen their 3 pencils, this can reduce the constant need of them needing to sharpen their pencils. |
