Case: Bullies
What is the best way to deal with bullies in the classroom?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
One way that I have used in the past is to Discuss bullying as a whole class and ask students to define bullying as a writing project and turn that information in to you. This way you can catch students misconceptions about bullying and more correctly address the issues that circulate the classroom. |

Comments: I agree that bullying should be discussed in the classroom, but this isn't something that would undoubtedly fix an existing bullying problem. |

Comments: I really like your idea to have them write down what they think bullying is and then address any misconceptions but if bullying is occurring then more needs to be done than just discussing it as a class - there needs to be consequences. |

Comments: i think having the students talk about the bullying in a paper This could bring up feelings that they should not be feeling and possibly hurt them. |

Comments: I don't think learning about bullying as a whole would help. It might lead to bullied students being bullied more. |
